LE POSTE / LES MISSIONS
Integrated within a team of system engineers, you will take on the role of Chief System Architect.
You will work transversally, acting as the technical link between all R&D teams (embedded software, electronics, mechanics), project managers, other departments (quality, product management, etc.), and external users (doctors, nurses).
As a Chief System Architect, you will have a comprehensive vision of the entire product lifecycle (from design, to series production, and maintenance). You will work across multiple product lines for a complete system.
Your responsibilities:
-Oversee approximately 100 multidisciplinary R&D team members in a transversal manner.
- Assist system architects in synchronizing World Package Managers.
- Define, document, and maintain the functional and physical architectures of systems.
- Gather and analyze requirements: interact remotely or directly in hospitals with doctors to understand their needs and identify integration steps and constraints.
- Translate needs into system requirements.
- Define the technologies to be used and assess project risks.
- Define the interfaces between subsystems and external systems.
- Develop and optimize processes.
- Provide expertise on system engineering methods and tools (MBSE) and System Architecture across all R&D sites (USA and India), including training teams on methodologies and tools.
- Use MBSE tools to model the system architecture, structure requirements, and avoid duplication of information.
- Write reliability requirements.
- Conduct failure analysis.
- Manage multidisciplinary technical teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute to technical innovation and intellectual property development.
- Defend technical documentation during audits.
PROFIL RECHERCHÉ
Master’s degree in Engineering (Bac +5)
Minimum 15 years of professional experience
Proven experience in the electronic medical devices (MedTech) industry
You have contributed to at least one major project
Strong command of MBSE methods and System Architecture tools
Expertise in systems engineering: requirements capture, decomposition, architecture…
Comfortable with system architecture in the context of complex systems, including interfaces between different subsystems
Proficient in software-intensive system architectures
Experience working on connected and interconnected system architectures with external systems
Mastery of system architecture modeling tools
Technical English proficiency
